Can I upload a list of orders or customers and have that split into multiple routes for each of my employees?
Yes. First, decide if you want to share the routes with all of your employees or sub-contractors by e-mail or to their mobile device. fter all the users have been added, go to the route planner page, browse for the file you want to split, and then go to the “Advanced Options” tab. Go to “Distributed Route”, type in the number of users you would like the route split into, and press plan route. Alternatively, go to the Address Book List or the Address Book Map, and select a region on the map. Press plan route, and go to the Distributed Route tab, select the number of users you want to split your route into, and the system will automatically create a route for each user.
Does Azuga provide any intelligent technology that will allow me to assign the resources (drivers, vehicles, and other assets) with the right skills and parameters to the right routes and tasks?
Yes, Azuga provides multiple solutions that are designed to help you assign the right people and vehicles to the right routes and tasks. For example, Address Territories can be used for creating different service areas and assigning the drivers with special skills and vehicles with specific parameters or equipment to the routes within each service or product-based territory. Commercial Route Optimization allows you to make sure that you get commercially-approved routes and can assign the vehicles with commercial parameters to the right legally-approved routes. Team Hierarchy permits you to create an entire network of team members with different company-level permissions to make sure you can assign the right tasks to the right employees, and so on.
Can Azuga create routes for large trucks that have weight, height, axle, hazardous materials, and other restrictions?
When you use Azuga to automatically plan your optimized routes for you, we consider two restrictions simultaneously, so that your commercial vehicles only travel on pre-approved roads, and so that each vehicle’s weight and cubic volume capacity is not exceeded.
