With Azuga, we completely reversed our situation. Now we not only talk about safe driving but also document it. That has made a difference and resulted in improved safety of our clients and lower insurance costs for us. We like to consider it as a win-win situation.

Gordon Raley
CEO, Family Service Foundation

Challenges:

As a human service organization, client safety is their top priority. With vehicles on the road around the clock, Matt Kaplan, FSF’s operations manager needs to monitor his driver’s real-time to ensure the safety of his clients as well as his drivers.

Solutions:

Using Azuga’s breadcrumb view, they are able to monitor and track their drivers real time. When one of their drivers had an accident, they were able to pull the breadcrumb view, document it and present it as evidence to prove it wasn’t their driver’s fault. This saved time and money spent on insurance claims. Azuga Speedsafe helps them see when and where speeding has occurred relative to the posted speed limit.

Results:

With Azuga’s gamification platform, drivers are aware of the areas they needed to improve upon, and driver scores have improved dramatically while building a safety-first mentality. This has helped the team focus and become more mindful of their driving habits. Initially, it was a sore point, and now has become part of the team’s daily routine, and has resulted in improved driver scores.

With Azuga Speedsafe, FSF successfully reduced their speeding events to almost zero.

In turn, this has helped the Foundation’s CEO obtain lower insurance premiums, thus he feels that signing up with Azuga is a win-win situation for him and his company.
