Faster, seamless and powered by new upgraded technology, accessing your Azuga SafetyCameras in Azuga Fleet is now simpler and easier than ever. Available now, you can review footage, events and request livestreams faster than before, with wider options and abilities to increase fleet efficiency.
Faster, Smarter, Sleeker
Everything about the new update is designed to make it easier to review the recordings from your fleet. Powered by new, cutting-edge technology, the platform is faster and hosts an upgraded, more intuitive interface that makes it much easier for you to review.
One new, simple addition is the ability to preview clips right on the main page. Simply hover over the thumbnail of the video and it will start playing for you right on your screen. This lets you quickly review the clip without needing to click through, checking which one you need to look more into, at a glance.
Once you have viewed a video, a new tag indicating it has been viewed will show up on the main page as well. This will easily inform you of what you have already checked, limiting the accidental occasions when you watch back a clip you’ve already reviewed and avoiding those cases of dejá vu. A separate tag also shows if the clip has been seen by the driver as well as yourself.
Easier Sorting
More options to keep your dashboard nice and organized have now been added. New categories and grouping options are now there, with a variety to choose from to suit the workflow of your company. In addition to the four previous options (Type, Group, Drivers or Vehicles), now you have an additional two new options – including the date and a single view showing you everything.
On top of those new groups, it's now easier to sort each individual tag as well. For example, for events the types are now listed at the top of the platform as well. No longer needing to scroll through the whole platform to find what you’re after, now a short list at the top allows you to quickly filter right at the start to get the events you are looking for. These are numbered as well, so you can see if your drivers brake hard more often than they should right at the start.
All filters can be now reset with a single click, ensuring for a hassle-free and efficient way to review the events your cameras have recorded from your drivers. This saves you time from having to manually remove each filter you set and provides a quick way to get back to the view of all events.
Archiving, restoring and deleting events is now a more seamless process as well. A new trash icon has been added to the main page of your events, where clicking it sends the relevant clip to an archive. From there, you can either restore the clip the main page, permanently delete it or leave it to remove itself, as after 30 days all files in the archive will be cleaned up.
Clearer Comments for Personalized Driver Feedback
New commenting options on the platform allow for you and your team to easily note on the videos themselves, providing direct feedback immediately to your drivers on their behavior and what to avoid.
This is assisted by a new icon on the main page, showing up when comments have been made on a video. This allows you and your drivers to see if something new has been added to the conversation, letting your team check up on what’s happening much easier.
You will also be able to tag individual drivers in each of these videos. Simply note them in the comment section, like how you would on social media, and an email notification will head their way.
Report generation is now easier too. Heading to the Reports section of the interface, you can pull a single report that will list out all comments and tags made on videos. This will allow you to streamline your record keeping, and track the development of drivers in your fleet.
Live Streaming and Video Requests
Live streaming and requesting onboard video from your fleet’s SafetyCams is a more refined experience now as well. Directly from the page, you now have the ability to see the status of your cameras, whether they’re on, off or currently on standby, right at your fingertips. So even before you click on the vehicle you want to know more about, you know the status at a glance.
At the end of each live streaming session, the run time of that streaming session and total streamed minutes will be displayed for that camera. This will allow you to track how often you’ve been monitoring, and to keep you within your limits and avoid exceeding the credits your company has.
Alongside this, you can now request video from each SafetyCam outside of the detected events with a simplified form as well. Similar to live streaming, you can see which camera is active and request video of various lengths right at the form to be retrieved as soon as the network picks it up. Then, on the right of the same page, you can see what requests have been made
These requested videos are stored separately to the detected videos, allowing your fleet management team easy access to the specific footage you were looking for. The page also lists requests that are still to be actioned, where videos aren’t available and where these requests have failed allowing you to know exactly what you’re working on.
The new interface is live now, so check it out for yourself and see which of the improved workflows is best for you and your company’s fleet. The updated software is available to all users of our AI SafetyCam.
